![]() ![]() In the winter good luck getting out of the parking lot. Parking sometimes can be an issue but overall not to bad if you pay for a garage and you have one vehicle. Need something fixed you say? Get on the waiting list we have had struggles trying to get stuff fixed. However, I think there is a few days now that you can finally get a chance but its rare. If you work a 9AM-5PM job good luck trying to get into the office. Office is never open like it used to be. Staff is really hard to get ahold of sometimes you ask them to call you back you wont hear back from them until you keep calling them I dont know about anyone else but thats kind of pricy given for what it used to be and the other surrounding apartment complexes. Which means your $1,200 2-bedroom apartment now turns into $1,300-1,400 by the end of the month. The rent has increased quite a bit and what use to be an all-inclusive place (meaning water, sewer, garbage, garage, storage space is included in the rental fee) now the renter must pay for all that as well. Ever since the new ownership has taken over this place it has gotten nothing but worse. I live here currently, Equinox USED to be a great place to live, I believe now that it is most definitely not the case. Turn the other way, stop at the liquor store, and wipe the idea from your mind!!!!!! If you feel like moving to equinox.GAURENTEED TOU DONT HAVE ENUFF MONEY, if you do, they'll raise your rent until you can't. And dont bother calling the office, all your going to get is a voicemail that will be answered 3 days later. As of late with new owner Lamar, they have decided to share the burden of extra utilities such as garbage, lawn care, water, heating the water for the building (not that there is ever enough pressure to make a difference), pig pick up, they store it in the rental office but the key to the closet is in the actual rental office, you better be ther before 5p, or your waiting for the weekend to pick up your pig. Convenience is not a word in their vocabulary, old or new owners. Even with letters sent out about new owner, vmsg is still English woman that hasn't worked there for 6 mos, and still has hours listed 9a-10p, though doors are locked to rental office 5p. Unless its a necessity to them, or they can be sued for it, maintenance is not primary on their minds.
